Australia-based EdTech company Avide E-Learning has launched CourseSuite, a suite of browser-based authoring tools. Also called “Ninja Suite,” the new offering promises SCORM compliance for multimedia, text, and interactive content.
The suite comprises three “Ninjas”:
Media Ninja converts video and audio files or streaming addressed into SCORM packages.
Document Ninja turns a variety of document file formats, from PDF and office suite to EPUB, into HTML5.
CourseBuilder Ninja, a course and quiz editor, converts a variety of file formats into HTML5 content with interaction and tracking options.
With SCORM compatibility enabled, instructors can track full or partial completion of activities, according to CourseSuite. It uses the widespread SCORM 1.2 version by creating a ZIP package with the media and a SCORM manifest. It supports Moodle as well as any LMS that features SCORM integration.
Avide offers content implementation, hosting, and consulting services around Moodle, as well as SCORM compatible courseware. Besides the “Ninja Suite,” it develops Moodle themes and plugins. It specializes in corporate learning, particularly for medical and Registered Training Organizations (RTO).
The Ninja Suite includes Basic and Premium tiers. Pricing is available upon sign-up. Find out more about Avide CourseSuite’s Ninja Suite at coursesuite.ninja.
